After 75 years of the Haws family conducting business at 531 South Mesa Drive, Henry and Edna Haws have made the decision to retire from the flower business and have closed Haws Flowers and Gifts.

Haws Flowers is happy to refer you to Watson Flower Shops for your floral needs. Watson's respect the difficulty in change and will work hard to provide the same quality and service you have come to expect from Haws. We are pleased to announce that Watson Flower Shops has employed Haws' lead designer, Susan Miskin.

The history of the Haws and Watson families dates back to the 30's and 40's when Lyman Haws (Henry's brother) and Ernie Johnson were best friends in high school. Ernie married Eva Watson and, together continued Watson Flower Shops. Lyman developed his floral design talent at Watson Flowers. Many years later, in 1964, Lyman joined the Haws family business and built Haws Flowers and Gifts until he retired in 1988.

Today, Ernie and Eva Watson Johnson-Quist's son David Johnson, his wife Pam, their two sons, Jacob and Nathan Johnson, are owners and operators of Watson Flower Shops, with locations in Mesa and Gilbert:

You can continue to use the same phone numbers (480-964-1912 or 480-833-7673) for Haws as you have in the past because the numbers have been transferred to Watson Flowers.
